Milestones since taking over the overall management in 1980:

  • Expansion into the fischer group of companies (UGf) and into the leading fixings specialist with the acquisition of Upat GmbH & Co., Emmendingen, on 1 January 1993, and ROCCA Bauchemie GmbH + Co., Denzlingen, on 1 January 1997.
  • 1982: the fischer CBOX (storage system for music cassettes) marks the launch into the automobile business; today, fischer automotive systems produces high quality car interior components for the automobile industry
  • Acquisition of the majority shares in the fischer group of companies (3 May 1990); 98 percent of the shares held since 1 March 2001
